Regret

One Sunday afternoon after church, we were playing in a park.  The girls were riding their bikes.

Abby took off down the path to pick flowers.  Annabel kept saying she wants sister to wait for her.  She started crying because Abby kept going.  Eventually, Annabel caught up and the two sister were picking flowers together. I didn't think too much about it.  I was far away talking to friends.

Later, Abby told me that she regret not waiting for Annabel.  She said she told Annabel sorry and gave her a hug and kiss.  She did this all without being asked to.
