Priority

Sometimes people schedule birthday parties on Sunday afternoons. When this happens, we just have to miss the parties and choose to go to church. Recently, Abby's best friend at preschool (4 year old program) had her birthday party which we had to miss.

Abby whined about wanting to go and see her friends. I told her it's more important to worship God. I don't know if she was happy, but she understood and accepted.

Today is Abby's birthday and she asked to go to Timbergym (a playing place) in the morning. I told her we have co-op school in the morning (Fridays). And she said, "Worship God is more important".

I am glad she remembers that. But it's interesting she views going to school as worship God. Maybe because there is service at the beginning of school.

We decorated the living room last night. She was pleasantly surprised in the morning and got to open presents. And we may go to Timbergym after Annabel's nap.
