Over react
It's hard to be a calm, stable mom (not to mention joyful) when there is stress involved. When there was just Abby, I handled my temper much better. Even though I wasn't happy about her fooling around not sleeping or procrastinate to do things, I remain in control.
With Annabel in the picture, I tend to have a short fuse and over-react. When Annabel is crying (going to sleep or wake up half way), I just seem not able to do anything else except waiting for her to fall asleep. If Abby disobeys or procrastinate, I tend to snap at her and react out of proportion. Everything just seems less tolerable. This is so unfair for Abby.
I find myself raising my voice and with mean face more. The other day after a few times of telling Abby to lower her head and look down to spit (brushing teeth), I forced her head down. She started to cry. Granted that it was getting real late and I really needed to get Abby to bed and then put Annabel to sleep and then pump (getting uncomfortable) and then eat. I over reacted and wished I didn't get angry.
I apologized to Abby and asked for forgiveness after she woke up from her nap.
