Evolve

Annabel's way of saying I had enough milk has evolved quite amazingly.

Newborn: Push out nipple of bottle with tongue and look at you with a frown. If that doesn't work, cry.

Two month old: Turn head and wiggle around. Tilt head to the far right and upward suddenly (so the bottle will be out of her mouth). Then close lips tightly.

Three month old: If tilting up doesn't work, she learned to suddenly tilt down and toward my body. It works as the bottle cannot follow her mouth.

Four month old: After all the above, if I still try to put bottle in her mouth, she just stop sucking and stop swallowing. She would leave the nipple of bottle in her mouth. But the milk just flow out of her mouth onto bib.

Five month old: Slowly put one hand on her face. Move to hold the bottle. Wiggle one or two fingers into her mouth while the nipple is still in her mouth. It's like, "I am going to eat my hand now...". She would also starting talking and blow rasberries while bottle still in her mouth.

You win...as long as you can hold out till next feeding.
