Lying

I guess when Abby wasn't lying when she tells me she needs to poop from the high chair. And after being let down said she doesn't need to go any more. She just misread her body signal.

Why? The other day when she asked for a cookie. I asked her, "did you finish your meal?" She said, "yes". There was clearly more food in her bowl. I told her, "You cannot lie. Is there food in your bowl?". A light bulb went on in her head. She had a bright expression and said, "I now know what lying means".

Guess she didn't before...
