Almost 2
Can't believe Abby is almost 2. She has been asking more to play with Hanna or Joy or Sophie (want to spend time with peers). Abby is a talker...speaking non-stop from morning till night (can say complicated sentances).
Abby started to show awareness of time. She'll say "daddy took me to see monkey yesterday", "mommy took me to touch the moose and eagle in the morning", "tomorrow, mommy will take me to the library"). Of course, the exact time might be a little off.
She has good short term memories. When I tell her, after you eat, brush your teeth, go to potty, read a book, you are going to sleep. She'll remember all that (and repeat it) and know the sequence as we do those things. She know what "name" means and can tell you quite a few person's names.
She is always saying "when I grow up, I can eat gum", "when I grow up, I can touch chopstickes", "when I grow up, I can cook for mommy and daddy", and etc.
She can blow bubbles from a loop. She can take off her pants to go on a potty (and put back on).
She is getting better at twisting caps on or off. Abby can also say the lyrics for quite a few songs.
When she wants to read a book, she is afraid mommy or daddy will get bored, so she'll give mommy one book, daddy one book before she sit down to read her book.
Such a little person...not a baby anymore
